Creating is something I have always loved. I can remember even making mud pies as a child. I first became introduced to ceramics in 2018 when I got a job at a pottery painting studio. After painting every piece of pottery I own in my house I decided this is something I had to share with everyone. To me these pieces are not just mugs, or bowls, they are a unique piece of the earth. After a while of just painting the pieces, that wasn't enough. I stumbled upon a pottery throwing class and the rest was history. I went to study under Wendy Walter, a 30 year master potter. Now, it's time to share all my hard work on my newly developed skills. When working on my pieces I always try to put a conventional use behind a gorgeous design. Meaning everything has a purpose, some you may never had thought of. I enjoy making most of my pieces on a potters wheel in which I feel I can truly become one with clay. My favorite thing with working with clay is that you can start your project with literal dirt in your hands and make it into something useful and mesmerizing.
