Private Lessons

2 Hour Private 1:1 Lesson
1 Session
Students get to choose a project within their skill set (beginners would choose a beginner project, advanced would choose a more advanced project).
Students can choose their clay bodies ahead of time and will have unlimited amount of clay to work with (we won't necessarily fire everything we make).
Your first creation in each session is on me, and any firing process after is only $5!
When booking, there is an additional option for $10 to choose an underglaze on your work.
Your creations will be dipped in a clear glaze, making them food and drink safe!
Pieces will be ready in about 6 weeks for pick up or drop off.
Glazing options are available upon request; however, these will be done in a second session, after creations are bisque-fired.

2 Hour Private 1:1 Lesson
4 Sessions
**When booking your lessons we will make goals/ set projects for yourself. Each session will be a new project/skill for you to learn.
For example, the first sessions will focus on learning how to wedge our clay and center it on the wheel.
Our first project may be something like a pinch pot bowl to get a feel for the clay.
Second sessions we would then learn how to throw bowls or mug forms on the wheel.
In a third session, we would pull handles for our mug forms and attach them, while also doing a hand-building project.
Final session we would glaze our creations and perhaps even do another hand-building project (if time allows!)
Your creations will be dipped in a clear glaze, making them food and drink safe!
Pieces will be ready in about 6 weeks for pick up or drop off.
Included with sessions:
Apron, starter tool set, pottery journal, 12 lbs of clay of choice (white or tan)

8 Sessions
**When booking your lessons we will make goals for yourself to achieve throughout the sessions. Each session will be a new project/skill for you to learn.

Book a Private Lesson
Students who choose a multi-session package will create a lesson plan with Sydney at Shill Creations before sessions start. Please allow for 15 minutes before and after each session for set up and clean up. Repeat students will be given alternative session options based on skill level. Caring Instructions
Everything is made with love by Sydney Celli. All pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe. These pieces are made for everyday use in your home, so please eat or drink out of them as much as you like!
**Please note: Pottery will last longer with hand washing**
